Friends, Our good friend Skipper was put to sleep this morning. His condition deteriorated rapidly over the last 3 weeks. Besides his kidney failure and the daily subcutaneous IV's, he became disoriented and could not walk which brought us to the difficult decision. We want to thank you for all your caring concern during his illness. We will miss him but always will have our memories of him. - Dan and Mary Newman August 28, 2003 |

I'm very curious. I
enjoy watching television. My favorite movie is Homeward Bound. I'm extremely strong and a good jumper. I am a true Skipper and have sailed to San Diego on a small sail- boat, living aboard for 10 days. I love camping and the out- of-doors with a few luxuries. |
I really have fun
playing with toys -- especially the soft ones. I know their names and can re- trieve them by name. |
This is me all grown up with my puppy-cut hairdo.
On Thanksgiving, 1997, I got to visit Shooter and meet his new
pal Alex.
While Shooter and I get along great, I was a little territorial
about having Alex in my house. Maybe next time we'll be buddies.

Here I am with a Christmas present from a Boston Terrior down the street. Rawhides are wonderful!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

Do you think the time is right? May I say goodbye to pain filled days and endless pain filled nights? I didn't want to go at first I fought with all my might. But something seems to draw me now to a warm and loving light. I promise that I'll not be far and hope you'll always know that my spirit will be close where ever you may go. Thank you so for loving me You know I loved you too. So hold me now just one more time and let me hear you say, Because you care so much for me you'll let me go today." That rainbow bridge is a special place! Author Unknown |
